WATERVILLE, Maine — The leadership team and board members of Delta Ambulance recently recognized several exemplary employees at the company’s annual gathering.
The award ceremony, part of the employee barbeque held in Vassalboro, commended Delta staff members in six categories: clinical performance, community service, silent hero, peer recognition, patient care, and longevity.
Each year the nonprofit, with a team of more than 140 administrators, supervisors, paramedics, and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) serving 29 central Maine communities, holds a gathering to recognize and thank the staff and their families for their commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care to patients 24/7.
“The annual awards ceremony is an excellent opportunity for Delta to recognize the outstanding work our employees do around the clock, 365 days a year, and let them know we appreciate their dedication and hard work,” said Tim Beals, executive director of Delta Ambulance.
Clinical Performance Excellence award winners were given to Delta paramedics Travis Burton, Shon Dixon, Michelle Grass, Jeremy Manzer, Rory Routhier, Jeff Tuttle, Steve Winn, and Chip Getchell.
Other awards were for:
Community Service: Phil Smith and Mark Weymouth
Silent Hero: Mike Record
Peer Recognition: Brandy Stanley and Adam Clement
Patient Care awards: Kris Waldron, Jeremy Manzer, and Rob Richards
In addition, Longevity awards were presented to the following employees for milestone anniversaries:
