On Saturday, March 8, Delta Ambulance participated in “Spring Into Health” by providing Hands-Only CPR demonstrations at Christopher & Banks at the Marketplace in Augusta. Eighteen stores located in the Marketplace participated in the health-focused event offered by the American Heart Association of Maine, MaineGeneral Medical Center, and the Kennebec Valley YMCA. Delta partnered with the American Heart Association of Maine to offer the CPR demonstrations, accompanying the other activities including Body Mass Index (BMI) testing, exercise boot camps and games for children, medical apps for smartphones, information about healthy snacks, and more.
