The Board of Directors of Delta Ambulance is aware of a recent letter distributed to Fairfield voters by local resident Dick Fortier regarding the upcoming town warrant and municipal ambulance article.
We wish to explicitly clarify to the community that Mr. Fortier authored and distributed this letter strictly in his private capacity as a citizen of the Town of Fairfield. While Mr. Fortier does serve on the Delta Ambulance Board of Directors, his statements, opinions, and political recommendations are entirely his own. They do not represent, nor were they authorized by, the Delta Ambulance Corporation, its Trustees, or its Management.
As a regional, non-profit Public Benefit Corporation, Delta Ambulance remains fully committed to its core charitable mission: providing premier, reliable emergency medical services to all our service areas. We respect the democratic municipal process and the right of Fairfield voters to independently determine their local emergency medical framework on June 9th, 2026.
