Delta is involved in the Trek by patrolling the route, and providing a team of EMTs and paramedics to pedal the route and offer assistance to riders as needed. Tim Beals, Delta's executive director, is riding as a participant. They will use vehicles donated by Darling's Auto Mall, and communications equipment provided by Hussey Communications.

“We have been committed to the cause for 16 years and take great pride in monitoring the three-day challenge,” said Beals. “Our focus is on participant safety, and supporting the American Lung Association by offering our medical support.”
